Our story
GONG(宫) was born from one simple belief: the world deserves to taste the true flavour of Beijing.
Founder Véronique QUE (Hualin) studied linguistics in Saint Petersburg before graduating from a business school in Paris. A passionate polyglot — Mandarin, Cantonese, Teochew, Hunanese, Japanese, English, Russian and French — she built GONG as a place where every guest is welcomed in their own language.
In the heart of the 10th arrondissement, minutes from Gare du Nord, GONG is the first restaurant in Paris devoted to traditional Beijing copper-pot hotpot: clear broth, finely sliced lamb, house-made sesame sauce. The menu also features handmade noodles, Beijing zhajiangmian, Dalian huoshao and traditional northern desserts.
No shortcuts: recipes follow Beijing tradition, everything is prepared in-house, and tea is served in a gaiwan — just like in Beijing.
Welcome to GONG — the authentic taste of Beijing, in Paris.
